It sits in a giant steel tub at the top of the ice at Staples Center in Los Angeles, the home of the Lakers and Clippers.
It’s there when you need it, whenever you need to watch it.
And it’s where we keep the Stanley during the final round.
Here are five things to know about it, from its origins to its current home.1.

Its original name was the Cup of Peace, but it became known as the Stanley of Peace after the Treaty of Paris.5.
In 1892, the United States and the Soviet Union signed a treaty that allowed hockey to be played in a sealed, steel tub.
This was the first major international event.
This was the opening game of the 1932 Stanley Cup Finals between the New York Islanders and the Philadelphia Flyers.
